Lots of empty seats tonight. Hope we’d never get bored of reaching a major cup final.

Lots of fans were a bit bored a few weeks after 2011 with the Fa Cup quarter final.

From comparison to the emirates yesterday is why i want arsenal to win it. Arsenal made the league cup look special agen.
Keep right on doubting us, and we’ll keep right on moving forward.

Traditionally they have always had good support through all their lean times, if normal fans have been priced out for tourists then you will get pstchy support. They also play a lot of games so it's an expensive game to attend all of them.

Tbf to man city the prem win in the last minute was epic.

Watfords Deeney moment was proper mental.

A few of the Vardy Leicester goals were great although I contribute their prem win to a seasons worth of good fortune. Some of vardys goals on another day go sailing over the bar, they really were excellent, but it's almost like god graced his boots for the season.
He must have been playing with a mini bible tucked in his socks.

I consider our bolton away goal as absolute top tier limbs and the cup of course. Some fans of other clubs rate the bolton limbs as possibly one of the best ever moments, according to YouTube comments section.

I think as fans, we live for those moments but to have them, theres an element of needing to be a 'bit shit' for a while to really truly appreciate it.

Even man utd... As much as im no fan of Man U, they really seem to have an element of rejuvenated limbs to their revent spell of good results.

You cant take it away from any club.
It's why we all love football that IS to me what makes it special.

Being the best for so long, perhaps does have its downsides. A bit of apathy and ' we dont need to show up ' attitude from the fans, like the complacency sets in.

Yeah if you're a Leicester fan you probably know it is very very unlikely to be ever as good again, that's quite a buzzkill ... at least they got to experience thr highest of highs though. Could really pack it in as a supporter after that, job done lol

Absolutely. Tbh i dont think we will ever see a team like Leicester do that again with such a casual swag about some of their goals. Vardy was pinging them in from Tesco every week at one stage. Almost effortlessly and that momentum and consistency and probably fan feeling around the club won it.

It's literally is like the planets aligned. Once in a lifetime as you suggest.

You could be done with it and be happy.
I bet if that happened to us theres posters on this very forum who would feel like they're sorted for life coz they've seen it happen once.

Hope we’d never get bored of reaching a major cup final.

I had a similar discussion with a friend about Bayern fans the other day, and we wondered how it would be like supporting a team that wins titles with that kind of regularity. We also spoke about Real Madrid and it got me thinking.
When I got home, I found a wiki-article that lists Madrid seasons, positions in the table and cup titles.

Imagine this:

It's 1955. You are five years old and your dad takes you to your first Real Madrid game thus starting a lifelong affiliation. The very first thing that happens in your 'tenure' as Madrid fan is winning the European Cup five times in a row. And then it just never stops. Until now - more than seventy years on - the longest you EVER went without either winning the league, the cup or an European Cup is THREE seasons. If you'd count the Suppercopa; a three year drought simply never happens.

You are seventy-five years old now, and I personally can't help but think that you just cannot relate to other football fans at this stage.

Traditionally they have always had good support through all their lean times, if normal fans have been priced out for tourists then you will get patchy support.

I don't buy this, Man City have some the cheapest tickets in the PL.

I caught the League Cup semi final there vs Bristol City 6-7 years ago (missing from my 92 at the time) and the ticket was something silly like £10-15 in the lower tier near the half way line.

I'm sure they do have a lot of expensive ticketing options, but there are also a lot of cheap ones too.

If Blues were in the Champions League from start to finish year after year in Europe's best cities.
If we were in every cup competition from start to finish with multiple Wembley appearances each year I can tell you now that I wouldn't be able to afford a lot of it
