The handball, the goal line clearance, the disallowed goal and the MOTM performance from the keeper - makes it incredible

It wasn’t incredible. We didn’t play that well and the keeper didn’t make that many saves. The goal was rightly disallowed, I’m disappointed CD is disappointed at that.

We didn’t create enough chances and were probably second best for quite a long stretch. Arguable we could well have come away with a 1-0 but it wasn’t dominant.

If you watched that game and came out with that summary then you are firmly in the ‘glass half full’ category!! 😁
We didn’t play quick or incisive enough for 60/70 minutes but still had more than enough opportunities to win comfortably and yes it was INCREDIBLE how we never won that game. Teams who get promoted don’t play fluent, fantastic football every week, they grind out and sneak wins occasionally. Unfortunately for us, that little bit of luck or decent officiating deserted us last night.
We need 8 wins from 14 games. Pick up 4 points from the next 2 away games and we’re well on course for a charge into the playoffs. This season, I just want us in the conversation when April comes around.

I’m a pretty optimistic chap I think but I like to hear our manager being realistic in his assessment of the game. We didn’t play anywhere near as well as he says. I think it’s incredible how anyone can think it INCREDIBLE we didn’t win.

It's going to be really annoying if we finish a couple of points outside the playoffs and I think back to that game.

Dykes arm was in an unnatural position. We can’t complain.

It's not really incredible. We were poor for the first 65 minutes. They played the game like it meant the world to them, pressed and pressed and gave there all. We struggled to play our normal game.

The subs in the second half changed things and Albion dropped off a bit.

There are still massive holes in the way we set up and play. It was glaring yesterday especially how many second balls we didnt pick up and still how much space in central areas there is between midfield and forward line. Roberts moving inside and allowing BOS to play on the outside seemed to dilute Roberts's play IMO.

Ducksch is one of those players who will play on the periphery for most of the matches and seemingly not do the basics, but then will do something that potentially is match winning. The shot yesterday as an example.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but feel it may have been best to play Priske and Stansfield behind and have more of a focal point up front but understand why he kept Stansfield and Ducksch.

We absolutely created enough to win the game despite being poor for large parts of it

We have been unlucky in quite a few games this season at home (e,g, hitting the woodwork multiple times for 3-4 games in a row), next season once our new signings have bedded in and we've recruited further we will be right up there

This season has been frustrating but great times are coming we just need a bit of patience

Hear hear. The handball, the unbelievable clearance off the line, the keeper's save from Ducksch, the corner and that cynical (but understandable) foul on Gray just after where I suspect he'd have gone through and at least worked the keeper again. In contrast there were a few bits of ping-pong in our box where our defence and midfield put their bodies on the line, but that was about it. Only one team deserved to win last night, and that was us, even if the performance wasn't stellar.

Clearly Ramsey has found a formula whereby Albion are now hard to beat. Unfortunately for him, their attack is pretty toothless as a result - they can't grind their way to safety via 0-0 draws.

I agree we weren't great at all last night.
But come on every blues fans is still walking away from that game wondering how we've not got the 3 points last night.
