Well quite.
Serious question though what happens to the players playing in those 3pm games that ended less than before their fast does?

So it’s not a serious health risk then 12 minutes in. Or if it is it was for the 12 minutes of the game before that and they shouldn’t have started if playing was a serious health risk as you claim

So to clarify. You’re anti breaking up the game for Ramadan?
would they do it for the tour de france ? mid race

When does the tour de france finish at sunset?

Cyclists can take on foid and water while in the race.
Plus the timings mean they do not race after sunset.

I do think it would be difficult to compete in a multi day endurance race while observing Ramadan.
You'd definitely want to make sure it was ok for your health. Dehydration would be a major issue in the Summer.

I find it difficult to see how the world cup can go ahead in the US. Every nation should boycott it.

It'll go ahead but it'll be a very different tournament to what we're used to. Iran will pull out and I think (at the very least) Spain will too. They'll probably stick Israel in there to really piss everyone off

No Im saying the fast was broken at 5.42pm because the fast for that day officially ended.
Django and Salah played in 3 o’clock games that ended less than 45 minutes before the drinks break in the Leeds game. Django played 72 minutes, Salah 90 minutes so if the City players were a serious health risk without water after 12 minutes, how the hell did the 2 players mentioned play an hour more in one case and 80 minutes more in another case without being a serious health risk?

The PL could have avoided all of the controversy by kicking off at 5.45

Load of bollix. In that case there should be no 12:30 kick offs because I'm having my dinner.

It’s not big deal is it? I think it’s fair that people are a bit quizzical of it but the main issue, such as it is, is that some people in the crowd booed it because, it seems, they were Muslims. I would have hoped most people would think that pretty sh&tty and I think they would..

Meanwhile rangers fans singing about ‘a sad Fenian b&stard’.

I don't think a 2 minute break a couple of times a year is going to make much difference, there's an unnatural one in most games anyway. At the same time it doesn't make somebody a screaming racist just because they object to it.

The whole world, even the righteous, just needs to be a bit more tolerant.

Not sure I'd boo it but I'd at least tut.

But I'd do that for any stoppage like this. Be it Islam, Christianity, Judaism or the worst of all VAR.

Maybe they should just pan the camera round the ground when the booing is going on and replay it on the big screen, bit like the kiss cams you see. That might quieten a few down, particularly those that are preaching one thing and practicing another.

They need to try something because posting on the internet about it isn't making any difference at all.
