Yeh, the promted teams always needa season to build and challenge, nobody goes up back to back...

I mean, I'm sure Wrexham are struggling just as much as us...

I’m quite happy to consolidate - we’ll be a much stronger squad next season and will be up there I’m sure

Hopefully they'll apply the same level of ambition and professionalism to the new manager and new coaches that they have applied to player investment and SQ plans.

Can you enlighten us to how?
Any facts to tell us how we'll improve, or do we just trust Mo's gut feeling?

I did think that but the last two games - the manner of the performances and the familiar failings - have left me wondering. Something needs to change. I don't believe we can just rely on starting next season better.

The whole division will also be a lot stronger too. Chris Davies is not going to turn these players into a team that can win promotion. If I thought he could take a different approach, then I might think that there's a small chance but the way he gets us to play is not good enough to win anything. We don't play as a coherent unit, we get bullied out of games by physical teams, we lack leaders, togetherness and team spirit.

Davies being schooled by Parkinson, who on paper hss got inferior players. His time's long up for me.

I think we know what needs to change at the end of the season.

Given what was said at the start of the season, and the investment made in both windows, I somehow doubt they'll be happy with bumping along in mid table, especially if Wrexham finish in the playoffs - that alone may do for Davies.
the odds are against us, and the situation is grim

Surely they won’t see this season as a success and more to the point they can’t allow the hype, excitement and feel good factor to disappear from the fans. Rightly or wrongly they set the level of expectation to be high amongst us and told us we’re a new blues to dream big and expect higher standards. Sadly off the field is still miles in front of on the field.
