I’m quite happy to consolidate - we’ll be a much stronger squad next season and will be up there I’m sure

Why?

Why would whatever Wrexham are doing have any impact on Davies?

Are you being deliberately argumentative?
It's been well documented/reported how our owners are tied through American ownership, documentaries, friendly rivalries, etc etc

If you can't see how any success for Wrexham, whilst we flounder doesn't affect CDs standing at the club, then you're just living in cloud cuckoo land.

So you think CD would be safe(r) if Wrexham were struggling?

The only thing that will affect CDs standing is the job he does at Blues. It's absolutely mental to suggest what other clubs are doing would have any bearing on his job whatsoever.

Would you rather be where they are in the table or where we are?

Ridiculous, isn't it.

Not that we'll be able to do that given how much it'll cost paying off another round of deadwood the manager has failed to get the most out of.

It will have some impact.
Davies will not be here at the end of next season I reckon. Maybe not at the start. We’ll spend, but so will others. Getting out of this league will take some time if we spend well. If we don’t it will take much longer

I think that's you, tbh

C'mon, tell us why next season we'll be challenging?

Because the numerous players who look like they're half decent that we signed in January will have had a full pre-season.

We won't be going in to a season with the likes of Thor, Dykes, Anderson, Kyogo, Cashin, Koumas, Sampsted etc playing a big part for half the season.

We will further spend on players in the summer.

Oh, so you think the tactic is just change half the squad every window and hope it clicks? Gotcha.

The tactic is to replace players that aren't good enough for a team that wants to be in the top 6. I'm not sure how that would be surprising.

I think you’re completely wrong on that. The owners will be benchmarking and wondering why they’re getting less points for more money, that’s literally what hedge funds do, optimise fine margins for
Maximum rewards whilst also heavy peer and market analysis.

They will want us to be as efficient as possible and right now we’re the 6th worst team in terms of transfer efficiency in the league [www.transfermarkt.com]

If Wrexham were struggling, it would have zero bearing on us... but they aren't.

And IF they finish in the playoffs, the first thing Knighthead will ask is why they could do it, and we couldn't.

Thanks for the 111 Chris.

Because there will be a light bulb moment when they realise that the players are fine, it's the coach that's a lame duck.

Which of the players replaced were fine for a team wanting to get top 6 in this league?

None of them would get a sniff at Wrexham, yet Davies is seemingly being judged against them.

Leonard/Caishin/Dykes would all still be in the Wrexham squad (and they would be stronger for it)

Look, it's going over old ground, and you're obviously not going to hear a bad word about Chris, so you do you...

But we are a midtable team, that have been battered on more than a couple of occasions.
I'm seeing it suggested that Panzo isn't Champ standard. BOS apparently isn't, but was good enough for Jose in Turkey, and his National team at AFCON. Doyle rated as one of those players too good for the Champ, not quite good enough for the Prem, but barely anyone thinks his loan should be made permanent. Neumann was best player at his club in Germany, apparently not Champ standard.

The list goes on 🤷‍♂️

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. You keep supporting Super Chrissy 👍

How many of the Wrexham players would we want at blues realistically?
