I don’t even judge him on his goal scoring record at Sweden. But Salzburg were after him, and those guys know strikers

Yeh, the promted teams always needa season to build and challenge, nobody goes up back to back...

I mean, I'm sure Wrexham are struggling just as much as us...

Yeah, watch Wrexham storm the prem if they do go up.

They will be back down same as Wolves.

Which of the players replaced were fine for a team wanting to get top 6 in this league?

None of them would get a sniff at Wrexham, yet Davies is seemingly being judged against them.

Look, it's going over old ground, and you're obviously not going to hear a bad word about Chris, so you do you...

But we are a midtable team, that have been battered on more than a couple of occasions.
I'm seeing it suggested that Panzo isn't Champ standard. BOS apparently isn't, but was good enough for Jose in Turkey, and his National team at AFCON. Doyle rated as one of those players too good for the Champ, not quite good enough for the Prem, but barely anyone thinks his loan should be made permanent. Neumann was best player at his club in Germany, apparently not Champ standard.

The list goes on 🤷‍♂️

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. You keep supporting Super Chrissy 👍

It's easy to make sarcy comments when you don't actually address anything I say. Nowhere since the game finished tonight have I defended Davies or said he's doing a good enough job.

I've questioned why Wrexham doing well would have any bearing on his employment as opposed to judging him on his actual performance at Blues and then mentioned a handful of players who played a part in the first half of the season that aren't good enough for a team wanting to get top 6. None of that is in any way defending Davies.

For the record he should be doing a better job and Knighthead will rightly sack him if this continues.

Because his season ended in November. Are we criticising Davies for a 21 year old who hadn't played competitive football for over 2 months not being up to speed?

Not to mention how if Gray wasn't offside he'd have a late derby winner to go alongside his assist so far.

Anyway in my book but I dont know how the powers that be at knighthead will view it?...

Not finishing in the top 6 but it going down to the last day or gameweek 45 would be a valiant effort.

Being out of the running in March is unacceptable.

Davies has been given 2 seasons of big spending and has a one dimensional style of football. When it works it looks really good but when it doesn’t work it looks abject and naive.

Our January signings such as Osman, Vicente and Wagner already look to have has some of their directness coached out of them.

Davies has shown nothing this season that suggests he is pragmatic enough to get us promoted and i’d say at this moment of time he looks like he would be way out of his depth in the Prem.

Poor away form, stubbornness to a limited style, unable to adapt to the demands of certain opposition, things that Knighthead will be seriously considering.

I think Davies has shown he is not willing to adapt to get the best out of players and would rather expect them to rigidly play to his system.

I wouldn’t be shocked if we saw wholesale changes in the Management, Coaching and Transfer teams over the summer.

How many of the Wrexham players would we want at blues realistically?

Moore, Doyle, Sheaf, Kabore, Windass, O'Brien are all players they signed in the summer who are either better than players we signed in the same position or would have been better than players we had play decent minutes for the first half of the season.
