Anyone else think that we are way off where we need to be mentally?

Don’t know how accurate this is but it feels like we’ve conceded goals in bunches a lot this season. One goes in another follows shortly. Also feels like we’ve conceded a fair few just after scoring.

And worse of all, feels like as soon as this team faces adversity, it crumbles.

Are we mentally weak and fragile, or is that reactionary?

Don't necessarily think so. It's only just over a week since we dug in and held out away against a Norwich team that are sweeping aside all others.

I think we're lacking in ability in key areas more than mentality.

100% weve shown some signs of mental strength at times. But particularly last 2 matches yes Id agree, we seem to crumble and we seem to concede 3 not for the first time.

It's like we are comfortable when its going our way in attack but when the first 10 mins fades and the rush of blood is dealt with, they start attacking us and the whole teams seems to be facing the wrong way and our confidence just erodes.

To add. Norwich was a good win, but we also had an element of luck there as they battered us 2nd half. We rode our luck for arguably 45 mins.

I think our fitness is an issue, seen multiple teams press us for nearly 75-80 mins and we look knackered whenever we try to.

We don't play like a team that fully understands each other. Maybe they don't understand what the manager is trying to do or asking them to do? I don't know, But if you're not a coherent unit then you're going to look fragile when coherent units pull you around in order to expose your weaknesses.

But we do seem to get bullied by any team that either physically or mentally applies pressure to us, so maybe it is also mentality and fragility too.

Whatever it is it's not working out and Davies doesn't give off any vibes that he's likely to change tactics or that he has a clue how to improve them. He needs to go unfortunately and I think he should take his distinctly average coaching team with him and the club should apply the same ambition to the replacements as they have with everything else.

It's not a mentality thing. It's just that we're not good enough.

I think it's absolutely mental fragility, and that comes from the coaching staff down.

For the entire season now, we've been prone to the same old pattern. Start well, concede against the run of play, total collapse, crumble to feeble defeat. This was happening before January and it's still happening now.

When the same failings are happening over essentially two different squads, the coaching staff have to be blamed. Davies and his team are apparently fundamentally incapable of coaching resilience and courage in the face of adversity into their squads.

I just think we're a long way off being a side that gets promoted out the championship. All over the pitch.

Davies looks like a beaten man on the interview, bags underneath sunken eyes and a hollow expression.

He can see the writing on the wall

I'm starting to feel that an unhappy Davies doesn't know how to lift players. When we are losing they know the yelling will start in the changing room. It's a viscous circle.

Deservedly or by luck?
We didn’t attack for the best part of an hour.
Millwall followed a similar pattern.
Tonight we started well, went to shit them I left early, so dunno.
I’ll see how we are at Charlton but will watch all of it

I think having to be dragged out of the dressing room tonight by the referee was downright unprofessional. Though in fairness we did start the second half we'll afterwards.

Dunno but you cant deny they absolutely lost the plot after the first goal tonight

Then came back well after HT after Davies was able to get them back up

Need a bit more of that on the pitch, manager cant hold their hands out there. They seem weak
