CD got another lesson tonight. Unfortunately he either isn’t or doesn’t want to learn from them.

His body language on the touchline tonight was appalling.

Don't refer to body language. I noted that the players didn't seem up for it/positive against Millwall and you think I'd advocated the release of Rose West.

I think he’s the right person to get us promoted (next season).

I don’t know if he can mange us long in the Prem though

I've always been Davies in but my belief is slightly waning

I still think he deserves one more window and a run of games at the start of next season to see if can push us to the next level in this league, he's an intelligent bloke so I like to think after a summer of reflection he can improve tactically ready for next season

I'm not absolutely wedded to it but I'm Davies IN

Squad was horribly unbalanced until Jan. Since then 18 points from 10 games which is solid, the last two games have been poor but it's hardly a crisis.

A lot depends on how we end the season but we've rolled the dice many times before and it's not worked out, so there are no guarantees. If we finish relatively strongly I'm sticking.

It would be nice to start a season with the same manager and the largely the same squad for the first time in about 15 years.

I think we last managed that when Rowett was in charge.

Before then it waa 2010-11 under McLeish.

A bit of contnuity in squad amd manger would be a big benefit to Blues.

I’m in this camp, putting a lot on us having a decent finish

If we go off the boil and finish weekly then I’ll expect him to be gone but if we can get two top 8/9 and finish well I’d want him to get another crack

Also in this camp.

Think he'll have a big challenge on his hands between now and the season though keeping players motivated for what's essentially just playing out the remaining fixtures with little to aim for.

I'd predict a drop-off and Davies ultimately being shown the door by the end of the season.

Me also, not sure they will pull the trigger - if he can put another run together and get us a decent finish then I'm IN. Stability would be good, though of course stability at any cost is daft, he has to show he can improve us and imo that's still do-able.

He needs to be better at the human side of management. And also, sometimes, letting players play. I bet he's great at FIFA.

The best coaches make players feel loved even on a bad day. Klopp was great at that.

I'm not sure he has it in him.

Out for me 100% believe he is under achieving. And 100% don’t believe he knows how to get the best out of this group of players. Very much reminds me of how Brendan Rodger’s tails off with teams when it starts going against them.
Can anyone honestly say our squad is any worse than hull ,millwall and Wrexham yet proven coaches know how to get the best out of what they have and change game plans accordingly instead of stubbornly sticking to one plan come rain or shine. Throw what it takes at a manager the same we do with players and attract the best.

I said the same thing a few weeks back, there’s an interest Reddit thread by Celtic fans talking about Rodgers 5 months ago and they’re complaining about the exact same things that we are.

People talk about the imbalance of the squad and I agree with it, we was missing a big physical box to box midfielder but in all honesty I don’t think Davies would have wanted that profile as in all his time as an assistant under Rodgers I can’t remember them having one at all.
