You maybe right and I hope you are.

I genuinely don’t see enough players in the current squad to be a top 3 club.

Controversial but I think only Gray is a top 3 player in our squad.

I really like Stanno, Roberts, Klarer and Paik but I think there are quite a few players better than them in their respective positions.

I think Boro, Southampton, Wrexham, Ipswich, Cov have better squads than us.

Teams like Millwall, Leicester, Sheff United, Bristol City, Hull have a couple of players who would walk straight into our starting XI.

Too early to call Jan signings as much as I think Vicente and Wagner in particular look great.

If Solis did turn perm I would also be optimistic about him too as bar Millwall he has looked good.

I think some of our players have far more ability than they have been able to show in this style of football.

But can only judge them on how they’ve played and what i’ve seen.

Problem is next season this league will be harder. The 3 coming down will have better squads than the 3 that came down last season.

3 of the top 6 won’t go up and there are likely to be a couple of good teams miss out due to poor starts.

Next year is going to be really tough which is why we need to add proven Championship quality to the squad.
