Never mind those leaving early what about the lazy feckers who did not even bother to turn up..
Was loads of empty seats in the Kop all game... Pathetic just over 26K

Excuses will include
Kids got school -- We had kids with us
Got work next day -- So have most people
Was working -- Change shifts (One of our lot does it for every game)
Was on TV -- So what?
Out of the country -- Ok fair enough 👍🏻
Couldn't be arsed -- Don't get a ST next season
Its a long drive home -- We had to drive almost 2 hours as M5 was closed
I don't have to give a reason -- Default bollox

I think the fact you know you’re going to get massively downvoted might betray you know you’re being a bit superfan with your opinion.

For example it’s just not as easy as just “changing your shift”, as one guy I know got shafted by his workplace and had to work instead of coming. Thankfully he was able to offload his ticket to someone else who wanted to come but sometimes its just not that simple.

Yeah it’s disappointing seeing the gaps but it’s the way it is sometimes.

Also, I left on 85 minutes cos I was tired and I had an early start in the morning. I hope that I will be forgiven that transgression with only minor penance on my behalf.

Season was over before a ball had been kicked, that's probably why.

The atmosphere yesterday and for a lot of this season has been horrific. Growing up this place was a fortress, now after we sing KRO we’re silent

I never leave before the end. Nothing 'superfan' or anything like that - far from it - but it's just a weird habit I've got into over the years, even if we're hopeless. I don’t blame anybody for leaving early or for not going in the first place. We've all got lives. Well, apart from me, that is. 😁
Form Rating: Dismal

Yes agreed.

I think the expectation ramp up meant that downturns in form are greeted with disdain/disbelief. It happens right across football now.

There is a realisation though that despite all the positivity surrounding KH, it has been brilliant for the club of course, there is a realisation that mistakes have been made. Two seasons ago it was Rooney and this, in my view, it was not building a team in August capable of reaching the play offs at least. I think CD and the owners thought our record breaking L1 season would put us on an unstoppable crest of a wave.

Also I don’t believe CD is capable of getting us out of the Championship. It won’t happen this season and nor next if he is retained in my view.
Blue since 67 - Will be there at the end of the road, whenever that may be!

Yep, it was quite strange. That hasn’t happened for a few years at least.
Personally I think everyone has the right to stay as long as they want to. Moaning that people leave early is like moaning at people going to the loo after 20 min - just chill out, let people be and remember that you have no idea of the personal circumstances of anyone else.
It’s an entertainment business too remember. People turn up early, buy the beer and the food and then watch the main product. If the main product is poor then why should you feel compelled to suffer it?
We’ve been riding a wave and, as it stands, it’s now statistically unlikely that we’ll reach our goal for the season. That realisation is naturally going to affect ‘interest’.
Another big summer and we’ll be stronger next year.

Do you understand that people might live life differently than you, and - you might not believe it - have different priorities? None of that makes them any less of a fan or warrants your gatekeeping in that matter.

Choices innit.

When we drew 2-2 at Derby scoring twice in injury time we'd been rubbish all game and loads had left.

I did skip the last few minutes away at Charlton last season. I was going down with a cough that developed during the day and felt rotten. Also we'd parked in a 2 hour spce at 2.50 and I wanted to avoid a ticket.

Normally though I see every second. Even if we are terrible.

I did say never mind those who left early.

Anyone who could not make it for whatever the excuse should at least give their ticket to someone else.

Hopefully people not turning up will stop if the club adopt a max amount of games STHs can miss. Not sure what hat number should be

Not going to games has a negative impact on spend at the club and having a ST just for the sake if it and denying others that would use it needs to be addressed.
Turn left when you get on a plane.

We left at half time - we're only newbies in our third season, but that's only the second time we've left before the end. What drives us out is the unrelenting misery hosing out of Blues fans, it genuinely feels like there's a bunch by us who are ONLY happy when there's something they can be angry about.
Yes ball games.

I can count on one hand the amount of times I've not seen the ref blow for full time. I think it's only once at home.

I'll never look down on people leaving early though. Lives outside of football exist and you pay your money and make your choice.

Depends where you sit, I’m in the Kop front row of top tier and for a almost a third of the game (10 mins before ht and 15 before the end We have a constant stream of people walking past us and we can’t see a thing.

Surely your eye level is above people’s heads who are walking past on the walkway between upper and lower tiers?
Alive. Early starter. Enricher of lives
