Surely your eye level is above people’s heads who are walking past on the walkway between upper and lower tiers?

Joe is on about people using the row he sits on to exit the upper tier, it really is a shit stand/terrible design

I sit on the gangway by the staircase, they are directly in front of all the last few seats in the first couple of rows. They even stop on the top of the stairs at times and we are constantly having to tell them to keep moving lol.

I didn't go last night because I couldn't be arsed. If I had been there I'd have been on my way out at half-time, very similar to Millwall when I was gone by the 48th minute or whenever it was that they scored their 3rd.

Do you understand that people might live life differently than you, and - you might not believe it - have different priorities? None of that makes them any less of a fan or warrants your gatekeeping in that matter.

Yep your right I had not considered any of that!!!

What I should have said was how great it was to see so many empty spaces and lets hope it is the same next week for QPR and Sheff U.

Who knows KH may well be thinking the same.

Other priorities eh, no one has a clue what I need to arrange (Safety & Medical for family member) so that I can get to games.
Turn left when you get on a plane.

27 now, being going since about 7 and miss probably 2/3 games a season since (home and away) . As far as I'm concerned you pay your money you do what you like (within reason). happy clappers that wanna sit there and clap a crap perfomance thats fine crack on, you may have kids that wanna leave early - fine crack on. My group turn up to every game but often go for a half time pint usually 35 sometimes earlier and leave to get back to the pub earlier in second half 80/85 , were a bunch of pissheads and have left away games before half time on occasions, who cares are 5 less people being there going to stop us from winning. let people do what they want. On a whole atmospheres crap from minute 1 anyway and footballs least front footed its been in a while.

Yeah the Kop and Tilton are terrible stands to exit. And the walkway between upper and lower incredibly narrow. Narrower still since the lower tiers were fixed. Gollivan doing it on the cheap. Shock

If people want to leave early, that's their business, surely? Haven't done that since 1972 when we were losing 3-2 to Portsmouth and turned it round to 6-3.
At the end of the day, we're all Blues fans carrying that load of joys (occasionally) and sorrows (usually).
As the song goes, 'you can check out any time you like, but you can lever leave'.

It’s seats like these, excuse the childlike yellow splog and shit image (click to expand). Fans congregate on the steps by either queuing to get down or by stopping altogether and just standing there like in this photo, the people in the front row can’t see about 80% of the pitch

Never mind those leaving early what about the lazy feckers who did not even bother to turn up..
Was loads of empty seats in the Kop all game... Pathetic just over 26K

Was more embarrassed by some of our fans than the actual performance yesterday.
Lots of fans around by me joining in with 'fecking useless' chants aimed at beadle by the Boro fans.

Horrible seeing that

I thought the atmosphere died the second Boro scored, it was alright until then.

I stayed until dead on 90 mins (didn't want to miss the train, kids had school the next morning and i felt no urge to clap or boo the players off). In truth I wanted to leave at HT, I'm actually surprised I didn't suffer an aneurysm up to that point.

Only twice before have I left before the FT whistle. Home games have been kind to us in recent times but when the players clearly don't have the belief or the fight (as proven by the Millwall game), there's no point dragging it out

From about 70 minutes the Kop started to clear and by full time it was almost bare of supporters.

Yes an abject performance but the clearance of fans looked worse than anything I have seen recently.

I have a rule. If we go 3 behind at any point, I’m off. Remember Blackburn at Easter under Clark in the famous “5 left footers, 5 right footers” game i was gone by about 20 minutes…last night i stayed until injury time - we had a free kick that went nowhere and I was done…ultimately if people have had enough that’s up to them? This ain’t North Korea where we have to smile and clap under pain of treason

Yeah, you really don't get it. it does not matter what YOU do to get to games. Other people are not beholden to your standards.

And you’re entitled to that opinion.
And I’m entitled to laugh at it. 😂😂
2 down back to town. Did the same at Sheff U and Watford in the first half

Genuine question Rab, as I know you follow Blues everywhere so I'm not having a go:

If Blues had come back 2nd half to draw 2-2 or even somehow won the game, would you be annoyed with yourself for leaving and have regrets that you missed those moments ?
