Got to give that man some credit, scores goals without playing as a 9 and will finish our top scorer this season.

Said this in another thread.

Ducksch is the biggest head scratcher going. Hes a one / two moment player, if it comes off great, if not your playing with 10 men and the players around him have to work doubly hard to make up for the lack of any real presence in those areas.

I'm not sure he's worth the game price: yes he scores but we can't win a midfield battle against better teams with him in there.

Bloke can create or score a goal out of nothing.

It's absolute madness to be pointing the finger at him. Literal madness.

I think his vision and speed of thought is maybe a bit ahead of some around him sometimes, he's very first time/one touch it can look a little rushed if someone hasn't read his intentions or it doesn't come off but its definitely not out of panic.

Don’t often agree with Nat but I do here.

Striker’s job is to score goals and Ducksch is doing that. Yes he is a bit of a passenger otherwise but if you’ve got a player who can get goals frequently you have to accept it I think.

He is a very good player but he sh*ts himself when anyone is anywhere near him. Some of his first time passes are great but others are as if he just wants to get rid of the ball. If he's going to start, then I think we need Priske with him.

I heard an interesting stat yesterday on the KRO podcast. Ducksch has got 1 assist all season and created 1 ‘big chance’ for others.

Stansfield as a comparison had got 5 assists (6 after last night) and had created 10 big chances.

I l like Ducksch and his finishing is great but he’s not creating a lot for others.

If you did that more often you'd be in the right more often

I do think he needs reminding not every single moment in the game requires a first time pass/flick. And it's certainly not all down to other players not being able to read him, some of it is just not needed.
He's a massively frustrating player to watch at times, but seems the most likely to pop up with a goal for us at the moment.

I love him, possibly the most intelligent player we’ve had in years, you can just see he’s a step or two ahead of others.

He’s not a #10 though, despite his goal return. He’s needs to be part of a front 2 or 3.

I’d use this time now to experiment on something new.

It's the old Scott Hogan debate. Yeah, he scores a goal and then you're playing with 10 men. Sometimes worth it, sometimes not.

Certainly worth it when playing against lesser teams.

He doesn't create goals though. You think he does, but he doesn't.

Just seen a comment saying Stanno isn’t involved enough and now I’m seeing people say we should be benching and or getting rid of the Duck…… last night was bad but have we all lost control of our senses?
