As Mr TW is still out (and hopefully recovering well) if any decisions are deemed to be needed (and to be clear I don’t think they should be, but hypothetically) who now makes the decisions?

I confess I don’t know enough about KH apart from TW and Tom Brady being a minority shareholder/advisor.

Hypothetically if TW isn’t back and the club decide to go in another direction, who makes all of the decisions now?

I realise this is fairly ignorant on my part - I know there is a board, but who has control?

Thank you.

Aside from Craig Gardner, are there many knowledgeable football people advising/in the hierarchy do we know?

My worry is they go knee jerk towards season end.

I’ve been wondering who among the money men will make decisions. Wagner is a very effective and personable figurehead but who else is involved at that level? Are they as emotionally invested as Wagner seems to be?

That is my question.

TW is passionate, articulate and has a vision. I hope it isn’t a case of he has drawn people in to the project to support it who maybe aren’t as invested as he is.

We had been told that KH are in this for the long term regardless of TW or not, so I don’t think I have any fears on that front, it’s more about football related decision making - I’m hopeful someone more knowledgeable than me says “they get advice from XYZ”.

Ara Cohen is managing partner alongside Tom Wagner. He is not on the BCFC board though

Andrew Shanahan is a member (and Tom’s right hand man)

The other BCFC director who is also a partner at Knighthead is Kyle Kniesly while Matt Alvarez is a senior advisor.

I don’t think any as emotionally invested as TW in truth although I’ve seen Andrew and Kyle at a fair few games.

Thanks Dan. I'm doing the usual googling to try to find out what I can about them.

Do you know if there are any "football people" dotted around giving advice?

Craig is probably their main football guy, Tom Wagner is very matey with him. However I’m also fairly sure they will go to other people who mature don’t have specific positions to privately sound things out.

I do hope so.

I worry about another knee jerk decision with a Rooney esque appointment, which is the last thing we need.

If it came down to it for the summer however, if reports are correct (and I don't think they would be, or I hope they wouldn't be as there is something to be said for longevity and continuity after our past few seasons), I wonder who would be doing the interviewing. I can't see Craig being trusted to interview managers.

I think Knighthead would want others involved in that process regardless if TW was in action or not.

It troubles me that we are 3 years in and our main football guy is Craig Gardner, his spell as caretaker manager alongside Spooner didn't instil much confidence, to put it politely. He needs some help at the very least.

It definitely needs some independent voices too, which hopefully they are using, since CG would have an ulterior motive to blame the manager given his own survival could be entwined with any decision.
