Faur, but the wingers and the forwards last night were the exact same ones we had when he was playing at the start of the season, so I'm not totally convinced it would have solved our issues, it didn't then.

We need 2 new keepers in the summer. Hopefully we won't pursue Beadle, and we should look to move Alsopp on.

Allsop has started nearly a third of our league games to date, we weren't exactly pulling up trees with him tbf, I think we won 3 of them

Something to address in the summer

Agree with this, his distribution was poor at the start of the season as well, improved against Leeds but I refuse to believe Beadles kicking was the problem last night, the fact we had to keep going to him due to lack of options elsewhere was the real issue.

We extended him earlier in the season so I doubt we're moving him on.

I don't see why we would. If anything i think we should dust him off, offer an apology - bring him back into the team and see how he gets on. We looked SO much better against leeds.

If it's not going well till end of season - fine - get a new keeper. But from what I can see Allsop has handled being sidelined pretty well considering the kid in from of him has had a few wobbles.

For me - although i do feel sorry for him last night, Beadle lost his spot. But Davies also lost a bit of my respect. (I'm sure he will be devastated).

I’ve given up on the play offs so unless there is a possibility of actually signing Beadle I’d prefer Allsop, simply on the basis that he’ll be with us next season.

His kicking was part of the problem. The fact we kept going back to him was part of the problem. The fact Doyle didn’t show for him anywhere near enough was part of the problem, the fact Iwata isn’t technically good enough to receive the ball under pressure and get us out of tight spaces was part of the problem

I suspect the extension was contractually obligated on games played

I think if he wants to play he will be moved on

We definitely need a long term number one

Yeah I prefer Alsop. Beadle is clearly a better traditional keeper but the way we play, it's essential to have a keeper who is good with the ball. He's better under pressure, better at short passing and much better when he decides to go long.

Even if we ended up conceding a few more goals with Alsop, I think we'd score more because he puts us on the front foot.

We need someone who can do both in the summer.

Long term number 1 is the second priority for a big spend in the summer, after a partner for Klarer.

Yeah that's a fair point and agree we definitely need at minimum a good Championship calibre 'keeper.

CM is potentially our biggest one.
Doyle presumably goes and I don't think it is guaranteed we get Solis either.

Would probably not have stopped any of their goals last night.

What he would have done is totally nullify their press.

Reduces tippy tappy slow build up. Laser focused diagonal pushes opposing defence and midfield back, also has a more targeted low skimmer down the middle.

His accuracy is unnerving for any defence. Even if he overshoots you've penned opponents back.

On occasions I'd even use him like a fly half 10 in Rugby direct in to the corners pen them in

If you play Allsopp too I'd play Carlos and Osman from start switch to the more technical Gray and Roberts after an hour.

I'd also play Priske with Duckshe and have Stanno on with Gray and Roberts

Agree 100%. Hope Allsopp starts from now on. Beadle needs to watch his distribution and learn.

I'd take Beadle out of the firing line now and bring Allsop in, because he's only ever gonna be one misplaced past from turning the crowd, and it's not helpful at all..

I'd take Beadle out of the firing line now because he's not a good goal keeper .
