I really don't want to keep hammering the point but I clearly am.

To me it seems if Davies wants to stick with playing front foot possession football, being comfortable knocking with around the back including the keeper and breaking with purpose or hitting a direct pass to start attacks then Allsopp should play.

If we are ok with a traditional keeper who kicks it long and not is comfortable with their feet and with the understanding they'll have to make more saves per game then let's stick with Beadle.

It seems Davies' whole ethos is being undermined and wrecked in playing the Brighton loanee.

He even struggles with this, though. How many of his long kicks went straight out of play or miles beyond our furthest player forward against the Baggies or last night?

I'd take Beadle out of the firing line now and bring Allsop in, because he's only ever gonna be one misplaced past from turning the crowd, and it's not helpful at all..

I'd take Beadle out of the firing line now because he's not a good goal keeper .

That's a perfectly valid position to hold, where it becomes a problem is when thousands of people are screaming at him and creating a toxic atmosphere, you could see it impacted the whole team, people started shrinking and passing on responsibility.

People around me were on him from kick off really. Even during that spell at the beginning we were on top. I felt like they manifested the resulting performance. There is a toxic attitude towards him and it's crazy that at points in the game hearing sarcastic cheers when he boots it up field instead of passing short. Like he was an opposition player.

Classic case of somebody who's not in the team suddenly being better than they demonstrated earlier in the season.

Not saying I don't think he should be playing, personally I'm not arsed really, but his distribution at the start of this year was pretty shit.

The Leeds game bought this back into sharp focus. He was our most creative player that day

Leeds didn't press him at all. As soon as Alsopp is pressed his kicking is nowhere near as good. If he could kick as accurately under pressure he'd probably be in the team.

Good point as those at The Valley last season will testify to. Think he nearly gifted them a goal pretty early on too

He also gave a goal away in conjunction with Iwata last season by passing to the edge of the area, can't remember where - was it Stockport?

As we saw v Leeds and last season, on has game Allsopp can deliver Hoddlesque long ball accuracy. Even if he over hits, as someone said, the ball is where the opposition can't score.

It's more though about front foot football, we have fast wingers, when Laird is fit we have pace at full back. Solis gives the back 2 protection they have not had in ages.

Playing Priske and Ducks gives us a target man and someone who is ideal at playing off the shoulder and getting in to the channels.

Playing the game in the opponents half builds pressure, gets the crowd onside ramps up the noise, Allsopp gets it in there and quickly.

I agree we need a keeper who can dominate aerially, a decent shot stopper and able to launch an accurate out ball or be confident with the shorter stuff.

A Nico Vassen clone would be great, a Matthew Upsin clone would be great, a Barry Ferguson and Solis.

It's time to give Buchanan, Solis, Osman, Carlos, Priske, Allsopp game time with a view to now and next season

Buchanan I think if he can play before end of the season be retained with Wagner and Cochrane as Buchanan can be 4th choice centre back, ditch Robinson.

I see no future for BOS or Doyle, either of the Japanese players.

So scope to improve right back, centre midfield (2) and up front.
We still lack that Jerome type big strong speedster. I'm convinced Duck, Stanno, Priske can all hit double figures, a 4th option capable of the same and we're in business.

You could release a DVD full of times Neuer has been caught out. it is high risk / high reward.

There will always be moments but overall to play the way we do we require a goalkeeper who is comfortable with the ball and overall good with it.

Opening game of the season against Ipswich he gave it straight to Szmodics who fluffed it badly:

50 seconds in.

Gave it straight to Cov player at 2-0 down:

2:40

Does nearly make a worldy of a save for the second though, very unlucky.
