I just feel sort of sad for a bit after a night like last night., and had a bit of of a miserable day.

Sad for all of us, owners, management, players and us lot..

But this club is night and day from near 3 years ago.,

Chin up you lot and me.

I've been consoling myself by imagining how exciting the summer is going to be. World cup into another Blues spending spree, dreams of promotion, new players, possibly a new manager and all the tentative excitement that brings.

Yep, I'm guilty of wanting it all and getting wrapped up in a 90 point season with back to back promotions.

The reality is we’re a team that is still looking up, financially secure and have a 10 year plan that will set us up for a generation of growth if we do it right.

We’ve just lost our 2nd home league game in 2 years - we’ll be back.

Not really ,I'm not sad.

I had a great night out , a pint or three , a nice bit of scran before the game .

A craic with my mates , bumped into a couple of pals I hadn't seen in years .

The football was a bit disappointing , but as my dad used to say " don't worry kidda we'll get them next time ".

No need to be sad. It's all ups and downs. This isn't even a down, not really. We have plenty to look forward to. Probably

Yeah I did have a reality check this morning when I realised that was the last time we'd lost at home by more than 1 goal since boxing day 2023. A bloody long time.

Saying that though, whilst I don't mind a bit of perspective, we'd all be a bit calmer if our owners hadn't told us we were expecting to challenge for promotion this season, so it's not all our fault.

I keep telling myself in life, my career and with Blues that progress isn't linear. There will be joys and sorrows too.

It'll come.

There really are far more positives than negatives about Blues ATM, how often have we been able to truthfully say that to ourselves in the past decade and more?
People get caught up in the moment, because of the clubs oft stated lofty ambitions our expectations naturally ramp up a few levels as well, it's perfectly normal.
Despite some of the more extreme reactions on here, I'm overwhelmingly positive about our medium and long term future. Whoever the manager is.

I feel sad not about the performance or losing cos that's nothing new but our fans booing and the toxicity towards Beadle in particular.
Since when did we become entitled?

At least we don’t have to sign Doyle for 10mil if we don’t go up. Another silver lining.

I said before the january window that any good signings would be undermind if Beadle remained in goal he just makes everyone in the crowd nervous when the ball goes anywhere near him so it must affect the players .The other problem weve got is all the teams we playing know exactly the way we will set up no matter what players Davies picks it doesent change new players same sysyem every game i hope we win saturday but i can see Jones at Charlton doing a job on Davies again we need to be more flexible .
