Something to take our minds of the football.

Architecture of course being subjective is in the eye of the beholder and there's no wrong opinion; hating the new stadium is as valid as wanting to move your family in and not go home!

I found this interesting and encouraging because I don't think the original stadium reveal really did it any favours. Listening to TH's passion and drive to make a difference on the built environment has given me a bit more confidence that yes, it'll be alright.

I love the design of the new stadium too. Although, I was initially a bit taken a back by it. Just because it's so different to what I was expecting.

I also think it'll look infinitely better in real life. The reclaimed brick will look better than any rendering can do it justice. I can't wait.

Will give this a listen later 👍🏻

It's going to be perfect. I loved the initial reveal anyway.

I think, for me, it was the initial shock of seeing it in the promo video and from there I never really got into it. Only the passage of time, plus seeing and hearing more detail on it has softened my opinion.

Worth a watch. Looks like we made a great choice with Heatherwick Studios in creating a stadium that is not soulless but part of the city.

Yeah, that’s well worth a watch. Having Heatherwick designing the exterior of the building and the concourses will mean we’ll have a unique, vibrant and visually stunning building.
By having Manica design the stadium bowl- we’ll have a high tech, world class sporting facility. It’s a brilliant collaboration and Knighthead must be applauded for going all out on world class designers.
