We were waiting for the X1 to the airport yesterday on Albert Street, and was surprised to see the tram coming past. We thought it was just testing but apparently it is now open to the two stops down to Millenium Point

Took a ride on it on Monday. Only 2 stops but an important milestone in the city’s transport plan.

Nice to see Pineapple Road, Kings Heath and Moseley Village stations opening today too. All reports suggests that the services have been busy from the off which is excellent. It’ll be transformational for South Brum and will only get better when they run down to Longbridge and the Bordesley chords are built.

Is that the plan, to run to Longbridge ? that would be excellent.

Being nosy used the new rail line today, it went past Curzon St and you have a good view of the progress. Also a nice view of the back of the Gil Merrick. Think it will be a good alternative getting to Kings Norton.

Went past Wheels on the train today on way to International and there's a lot of demolition work to buildings going on
