Cracking result and hopefully we can finish them off on Sunday, I’ve never had an issue with Wrexham but the amount of fans who have used them as some sort of yardstick this season has grated.

Hopefully Saints can go up alongside Ipswich and Leicester go down, just so we don’t have as many parachute teams to compete against, the 3 coming down will be hard enough

Agree with all of that. I spend quite a bit of time in North Wales and they’ve certainly become a big draw up there.
Of course a lot of that comes with jumping on the winning bandwagon, but generally they’re pretty sound though. The guys we were sat with on the train from Shrewsbury on Friday were saying how they thought we’re a ‘proper club’ and couldn’t get over the atmosphere of St Andrews last season.
Will be interesting to see if things drop off there if they falter for a year or two

Nice one, Hugh.

You've still got time to edit it.

Was a nice goal, against the run of play. Stand by what I said.

Will stand by it when Wrexham go on to win 4-3 too.

Oops

Well I was hoping Wrexham would lose so my reverse psychology worked wonders.

I’d have jinxed Southampton if i’d said they would win.

I'm going for Southampton to win all six of their remaining fixtures .

One of those is against Ipswich could be an interesting end to the season .

One thing for certain Southampton will jump a few players and be higher than 6th come the end of the season.

Good, nothing against Wrexham but as has been said, the wave of self pitying jizz on here if they make it will be awful. Same with Derby and Mr 'No Fear'.

I’ve no problem with Derby. villa john has set them up well, and in a similar position to where we were when he was given his marching orders.

However, I effing hate Wrexham just as everyone else hates us. They seem as entitled as anyone else, and they’re as tin pot as Huddersfield Bolton Cardiff Wycombe etc…

You think the 2 games are comparable, a massive game in a tiny stadium and a complete dead rubber.

Yeah youve got to remember they are essentially a non league/ div 4 club and have had an incredible rise in 3 years. They're all over twitter getting very giddy at playing at the Hawthorns on Friday, an amazing stadium, proper football club etc bless em

If they're still able to catch Ipswich by then it'll be interesting to see how Southampton go about the FA Cup semi final with a game on each of the Tuesday's surrounding that game

However Ipswich's next three are Norwich, Pompey and Boro, so Southampton could quite easily be level or above them within 10 days time
