I wonder how much our wages have gone up this season in comparison to our revenue. Presumably, revenue only slightly whilst wages significantly. That revenue for League 1 is incredibly impressive and shows the brilliant work Knighthead have done off the pitch. We just need to replicate it on the pitch and we'll be flying.

For some reason, those numbers make me feel far more confident about next season. If we can make some key and sensible decisions in the summer...

I think revenues will rise significantly this season as the Championship TV revenues kick-in. Maybe even to £50million.

Wages will have risen significantly too, mind.
There's too much opinion and not enough fact.

Aren’t we allowed £39m losses over 3 years to pass PSR? Yet we’ve lost £34m last season alone.

Won’t be long until Mr Popodopolus dissects our new accounts. 3-2-1

PSR uses a different definition of losses - excludes stuff like infrastructure spend etc. Eg KH spent £20m plus on the stadium/ training grounds, I think?
So that £20m is added back, reducing the loss.

A big chunk of those losses get adjusted by the EFL to calculate a different figure. I’m sure someone on here will know exactly what gets removed.

For me, the interest we are paying KH on the loan facility is concerning. We are borrowing and borrowing but not reducing it. For that year it appears to be over £10m. That said, we then get £9m back in clever sponsorship.

Yes - based on TW's comments in the summer they were forecasting revenue to be up to around £50m, I would guess.
But we're definitely going to see a good size jump in wages as well.

Hopefully someone will correct me if I’m wrong but the 11.9% interest isn’t on money we owe Knighthead that’s the interest on the loan facility for the Chinese owners.

On the surface level that all looks very worrying.

I see a couple of votes on my comment already, so I'll expand on my point i guess.

We had the wages of a top 6 championship team in league one and the revenue (especially if you add £6M in lost broadcast money) of a top 6 championship team in league one too.

Course we had to pay through the nose sometimes to convince players to come to L1 and I'm sure, like Sunderland's 24/25 accounts, bonuses on promotion have pumped up the figures. But still, 111 is a low total when you consider what a Southampton 25/26 team would do in L1 right now.

We should not be in the bottom half of the championship, and it's outrageous that we are so far off it this season. These figures will only be higher in 25/26.

Knighthead have the commercial side nailed. That revenue is eye watering for turgid league one football. But the footballing side, urgh.
