Can we stop all this end season review, give our selves a C+ and do better next year. Lets continue the project. No thank you. The season has finished, let's not waste any time before the transfer window opens.

Two other Blue clubs to look at are Millwall and Ipswich; that should be us. What Millwall have achieved on a fraction of the budget Davies was given is embarassing. In the case of Ipswich, they were relegated last season but stuck with their manager to get them back up again because they realised that it was an almost impossible job to stay up. Burnley were in the same boat but have got rid of Parker. This is someone who has played at the highest level and shown that he can get a team that is smaller than us promoted from the championship. What's not to like?

Not sure Parker is who I’d choose personally, every time he has been in this division he has had the best team in the league

Haven’t we already had a ten page thread on why his clothing choices are crap and we shouldn’t go for him?

Christ, if you think CD plays mind numbing football, wait until you watch Parkers team.

Has he done anything that didn't involve spending copious amounts of parachute payments?

Crying on the other thread about finding “Davies ball” boring, yet calling for Scott Parker 😂😂

A good manager may not necessarily have a certain style of play. If you have a squad that is good at certain things and you can win games by being organised then why not? That doesn't mean that you can't coach another team to play in a different style. The problem with Davies is that he has been shown one way to play from working under Brendan Rogers and he doesn't understand how to get the best out of his players in that system. We have been like an engine missing a valve and winning games despite Davies rather than because of him.

So if we are shite...Daviesball.
If we actually perform well, it's because he's 'just let the players get on with it' or 'despite' him.
With a small section of our support, he's damned either way, isn't he?

I am sorry that you are embarrassed.

Millwall have excellent recruitment year on year and regularly get 60 plus points. I think people are a bit naive in how they see them.

"What's not to like?" Dreadful football when he last got out of the Championship. Even worse in the EPL. No thank you

I don't mind a team that has a clear plan and punches above its weight. That may be boring in terms of free flowing football and goals but at least you can appreciated the organisation and how the team is working. That is less frustrating than watching a team that should be winning a game or that have to win a game just pass it sideways and backwards because they have been coached not to give the ball away.

And who's to say that Parker is unable to deploy different tactics? You keep telling us how Davies is going to learn and become a better manager. Why not give that opportunity to someone who has proven playing and managerial experience? Nothing to lose really is there?
