Can we stop all this end season review, give our selves a C+ and do better next year. Lets continue the project. No thank you. The season has finished, let's not waste any time before the transfer window opens.

Two other Blue clubs to look at are Millwall and Ipswich; that should be us. What Millwall have achieved on a fraction of the budget Davies was given is embarassing. In the case of Ipswich, they were relegated last season but stuck with their manager to get them back up again because they realised that it was an almost impossible job to stay up. Burnley were in the same boat but have got rid of Parker. This is someone who has played at the highest level and shown that he can get a team that is smaller than us promoted from the championship. What's not to like?

Smaller clubs than us but with much higher budgets.

Not sure why that is unpopular.
Robbins did a superb job at Coventry.
Got them from League 2 to Championship plsy off final.
While not spending loads. Him an his team identified players like Gyokers and Hamer who Cov sold for millions to fund the team.

He mostly did tjis under terrible owners.

I don't think he'd necessarily do brilliantly over one season, but over a few he'd be pretty good.

I don't rate Parker particularly. He's good with an overfunded team yes. But so is Chris Davies so we might ss well kerp him.

In his PL seasons Parker hasn't shown the ability to adapt at all.

Plus he comes across as unlikeable.

If Davies is sacked I'd be amazed if he went to Leicester, they're an absolute basket case that could do serious harm to his career.

I wouldn’t bother with Robins., I’d rather stick with Davies over him. Robins has a 31% win rate over 1.5 seasons at Stoke. CD was 37% this season.

Some on here (not you) might like him though as Robins sure likes to moan and moan post match.

Parker has a championship win rate of 55% (vs Chris 35%) and has promoted 3 teams.

Not sure why people are blasting the OP. Parker is proven statistically to be on another level to Davies. I think it’s silly for armchair fans to presume they know more than the objective facts in front of them.

Don’t think getting Bournemouth up was that big a deal with the squad he had.

Burnley been a yo-yo club for a while.
