Parker has a championship win rate of 55% (vs Chris 35%) and has promoted 3 teams.

Not sure why people are blasting the OP. Parker is proven statistically to be on another level to Davies. I think it’s silly for armchair fans to presume they know more than the objective facts in front of them.

The argument is he has always done it with a parchute club who are one of the favourites to go up if not the favourite.

Rumour is Stoke want Parker.

Feck Scott Parker. Never liked him. Don't think he's special either. Why would Burnley get rid if he's so good in the Championship?

They went up last year bc they had a European comp level keeper

If they want Parker id take Robins . Decent at this level after what he done with cov and plays decent football.

I’m not pro Parker, never enjoyed watching his teams. But he is objectively a much stronger Championship manager than Chris, and more likely to get us promoted.

It’s like the difference between signing a regular 20 goal season striker vs a 10 goal a season journeyman.

Parker is too good for the Champ and not good enough for the PL. If we were to bring him in now, would have to remove him within 10 PL games imo.

But Parker has also only managed teams in the Championship who should be getting promoted. Not sure anything in his career, including his quick failure in Belguim, suggests he can do it with teams other than well equipped parachute clubs.

I’d be disappointed if we went for Parker, he has promotions on his CV but all with Super Teams, finishing 4th with that Fulham team wasn’t great, his time in Belgium was awful, he’s shown consistently that when he doesn’t have the best team that he hasn’t got much of an idea. I also think he talks complete shite when I’ve watched his interviews.

Surely Parker is off to WHam in the Champ, perfect fit

Blues will only dismiss CD when they have a superior replacement ready to step in.

The club will have set a deadline for this too to minimise preseason disruption.

It won't impact transfers as these are done to a model - which the new coach will have to agree to upon signing.

Not saying you’re wrong about transfers but we’ve been told Davies is involved in transfers with the final say and the type of player he wants. Both can’t be true

I reckon it’s like when my missus sends me out to get shopping and tells me what to get, but I get confused and come back with similar stuff

And then I blame her when I don’t like the meal that much

Nuno would be ace, but I realise he would be hot property (even if he takes West Ham down) which looks increasingly likely.
