I can't see how we can afford Osman, unless it's anoher loan deal.
Brighton were willing to offload Osman to Auxerre at the end of his loan at book value.

They signed him for £16m in Summer 2024 on a 5 year deal. Last summer he would have had a book value of £12.8m, the widely reported option fee in the Auxerre loan for this season was circa £12m. This would have allowed Brighton to offload for less than the £16m paid without recognising a P&S loss on their books.

Assuming they're still willing to accept a loan with an option to buy at book value for this season, then his current book value would be around £9.6m. Another loan deal in which he continues developing and finds more of an end product, he would be more than worth the option price of £9.5-10m.
