In a bit of financial trouble and there are some rumours that Knighthead are looking at a purchase if the current owner sells up.

No links, just from speaking to a fan of theirs, so it’s likely bollocks but I thought it was worth mentioning.

They said that there’s been whispers for a while about KH and they’re starting to get louder.

Remember we played them in a friendly under Lee Clark. Ravel was playing. They bought loads and made an absolute racket. Beat us too if I remember

Yeah multi club ownership makes me a bit uncomfortable but I’m a hypocrite and if it’s blues at the top of the pyramid and it benefits us then I am all for it

I think miyoshi came from Antwerp, they may have some other decent players we can scoop up

I can't see it happening, as I think their focus in football is the SQ and growing the club with in it.
Possibly more of a sign that KH are getting good recognition so people are hoping they might get involved with their club.

All that said, KH are clearly much, much more than the SQ and Blues - if they saw a real opportunity with Antwerp like they saw with Blues then I can see them going for it.

I asked a question of someone this morning who replied that they thought it unlikely cos that’s not the way KH want to go.

Multi sports in one location yes, multi clubs in different locations no.

I assume if it was too happen then multi-club wouldn't be the driver but just a by product - rather that they see an opportunity like us and the SQ in Antwerp (or wherever). KH have a lot of money to keep invested, so presumably are looking for opportunities.

My assumption also. They don’t have the money to redevelop multiple locations in cities simultaneously nor the time I would think.
