He said Johnson turned up in non-matching kit and rugby boots, was stuck up front because he was shit, and spent the game barging, kicking, and racially abusing him.

I wouldn’t say I’m particularly up to date on popular culture and certainly not in the UK. I just looked who played. It’s a pretty famous and stellar list, I knew most without liking them
up. What would you require for them to lose the ‘so called’ tag?

Like with all celebrity shows it’s mostly celebs who do the rounds on all the celeb themed shows on an endless loop. Tom Hiddleston is a genuine celeb but if he is gonna insist on doing this every year he desperately needs some basic football lessons.

Utter Woke Nonsense

I watched one year when Karen C came on and she made a massive positive difference.

I think in the same game Jamie Carragher wiped out some skinny guitarist and I thought what a nasty thing to do, absolutely no need.

I find the objections of people to this event quite strange. What are they so bothered about exactly? That celebrities are getting more limelight, or that celebrities are using raising money to highlight themselves, or maybe that they haven’t heard of the celebrities so they’re not even celebrities? Who cares?

I’d have thought the strongest reaction might be indiffference but it seems people have valuable energy to use up.

I forgot it was on tbh so put me in the ‘indifferent’ camp, but yeah, people work themselves into a frenzy over stuff like this. Some people get particularly annoyed when they haven’t heard of the celebrities on there, as if everything must be tailored to them, at all times
