According to this Youtube Video (ESPN Brasil) 8 minutes in were scheduled to meet them in a friendly in Lagos, as they're training out there when we are

If link on here comes through as Portugese then click on watch on youtube on the video and it should take you directly to the video on their site and have the English translation

It does say they are scheduled to meet Falkirk also, which Falkirk have denied, so may or may not be true, remains to be seen

Apologies if it has been posted before, not seen it if it had.

Meant to put while we are training in Lagos, no idea, if it happens where the match will be played, as the local Lagos stadium only holds 4000+ and would imagine there would be a lot of Portugese people who would want to see Flamengo play out there, whoever they play

This site says scheduled for 8th July [onefootball.com]

Good find, hope it's accurate. As one of those strange people who actually enjoys pre-season friendlies this would be decent.

I was told on Thursday that Barcelona friendly is going ahead (was in the boozer and I can't remember the date but got a feeling he said it's a Friday night in July) , he also said there is NOT a friendly in Portugal, only training camp. He's normally spot on regarding these things.

club hedging their bets a bit with the announcement, reads like it was only going to be an open training session but then does reference a potential fixture...think you could well be right in there not being a game

Promised I'd take my almost 4 year old to our home friendly this year, was hoping for a Saturday or it's a late night for the lad.

Give him a glass of Baileys for breakfast. That’ll let him nap for a few hours dinner time. Out on the beer by 3. Sorted.

Anyone know for sure if that Barca friendly has been confirmed?
