I wonder if it is proven that they spied on more than the games they have admitted to, will they get given a larger points deduction for next season?

They should. Presumably they were asked if it was everything and said no.

With all of this coming out you can see why they got the deduction and they should be grateful that it was only 4pts.
Turn left when you get on a plane.

Some dude in jeans and a black jacket stood behind a tree some distance away with what looks like a mobile phone is hardly state of the art spying though, I'm sure you would probably gather more info from watching back a live TV match.

Hmm dunno, it is standard for a team to do a bit of shape a day or two before a game, you get set up in the starting 11 and walk through different passages of play against no opposition. You could easily glean what the starting 11 is, in what formation and whether they plan to press, sit off, play direct, or play out etc. It's not the be all and end all but it's a pretty big advantage for one manager to have over another.

Eckert has made out previously that he did not realise that spying on an opponent was against the rules and essentially cheating.

Yet in the messages from interns, they clearly are aware that this is not normal practice and felt uncomfortable. It comes to something when a "professional" football manager can get this so wrong, but some young lads pressured in to breaking the rules are more aware of the situation.

Why hasnt he been sacked yet?

Wait for him to be banned so they don't have to give him a payoff?

Makes sense.

i'd have thought they could do him for gross misconduct if they wanted to
