It's 2 x off-hand, tongue in cheek comments on a message board, and your response is a bit snowflakey.

I apologise that you don't deem me 'worthy', I'm not sure how I'll cope.

Of course they were tongue in cheek, I was just waiting for the "I was only joking" when people like you are called out on your double standards. Pathetically predictable.

Most Americans don't know who Starmer is in the first place.

I mentioned his name to both my sister-in-law-to-be and my partner's best mate, and they were both like, "who the hell is that?"

If he becomes the worlds most famous paedophile, conman, rapist, warmonger and fraudster then they might become familiar with him, can't see it though, he seems a bit boring.

So are you the arbiter of what is and isn't tongue in cheek? I'll be sure to check with you every time I post from now on to be sure my intent and what is worthy can be checked.

Alternatively, you could carry on making your assumptions and getting offended, the choice is yours really. Please, do let me know which!

Always surprised Sir Bomber Harris or Bernard Montgomery weren't on the notes. Hereos.
Hereos is what a bloke on my round says to his horse.
Heroes are Ian Le Frenais & Dick Clement on the £5. Bob Mortimer on the tenner and Paul Heaton on the £20.
Eff the £50 note off

I've thought of a way that issue can be solved.

Yep. I, for one, very much look forward to the day Trump's face can legally be on a bank note

You may not like the man, in fact you may hate him and his policies (I have no love for either), but seeing a pair of "Mods" openly hoping for the death of the duly elected president of a longstanding ally reflects very poorly on both the site and you as individuals. One can only imagine the reaction from those same "Mods" if an American made posts openly hoping for the death of Starmer on this forum, and rightly so.

"Mods" in quotes as that type of behavior isn't worthy of people who supposedly police others and uphold standards.

Good Lord.
There's too much opinion and not enough fact.

I'll go with option (c) which is spend my time where the stench of hypocrisy isn't as bad as it is here.

Or to put it another way: go fcuk yourself and your faux intellectual sneering drivel.

Hypothetically speaking both would feel a bit out of place on a note although Harris’ ‘whirlwind’ quote is one of the coldest in history.

Montgomery was a bit of a prickly character both during the war and after, he was also vocally pro-apartheid and homophobic so you’ve more chance of platting piss than him being on a note in this day and age
