Any fans? Can't get enough of them at the moment, and the brewery bar itself near Cheltenham train station is pretty ace. Makes for a great and messy end to a day at the races.

Steady Rolling Man is the best pint out there. The only issue is I drink too many too quickly and at north of 5% it catches up with me. That and Intuition are the go-to when I see them on tap.

Deya are a great brewery but IMO they’re not as good as they used to be. Too many of their beers are very similar and the quality has definitely dropped as they’ve expanded (too quickly IMO).

They used to do this double NEIPA that was outrageously thick and citrusy. Now all they seem to do is the same beer about a dozen times over. Still nice but now what they were.

Verdant fill that niche for me when their limited runs of Putty come out every year. I hardly ever drink these days but I’ll make an exception for that.

Won’t be long till Heineken buy them and they go to shit completely like Beaverton did.

They have a cracking range of beers but always worth a quick look at the ABV as they often have a few between 6-8%.
The tap room on the trading Estate is well worth a visit.
Turn left when you get on a plane.

Yeah I reckon this is probably spot on. Almost impossible to retain the same soul and quality once you start to reach for the mainstream.

Neckoil was always fecking gross though.

When Beavertown first emerged in the early 2010s Neck Oil was a very nice best bitter out of a cask.

The “IPA” swill it turned into was/is rank.

Ah no way, tbh never knew it was anything other than an overrated, fizzy bland IPA for goons. I would struggle to finish a pint of it.

Steady Rolling Man at Dead Wax is pretty much a perfect combo. I’d love them to have beers like that at StAns and the new stadium.

Staying in Masham for a week’s walking. Theakston and Black Sheep breweries both there. I’m happy.

I'd rarely remember a game if that were the case. In fact, make it happen!

Lots of choice is what we want. Plenty of lighter options inside and outside the stadium is a no brainer but a few bangers too served responsibly e.g. if they can get Robinson's Old Tom only serve it in half and halve scarf/scarves. I'm a big fan of the real ale and craft scene but I also really love that they have Cruz Campo at St Andrews.

I like the Steady Rolling Man and Intuition. Just a shame they're always on the kegs and not the cask. Dead Wax is a bit fecking pricey though IMO. If you like those, look for Oakham, Vocation, and Siren beers. I think they're all good breweries, and I like most of the beers they make.

I'll usually grab the Vocations if I'm in Tesco or something, lovely drop.

The town 5 miles from me (Hebden Bridge) has a vocation brewery tap bar. It's one of my fave places to be.

Both these are great but the cloudiness plays havoc with my guts. Well that’s what I blame anyway
