They're after Tonali from Newcastle too. That would be a strange move for him.

Didn't Brighton pay less than £3million for him .... ?

Basing that on this ... [www.theargus.co.uk]

Brighton doing Brighton things.
Another Dan Ashworth gem I think. Despite some not believing he’s got any credentials

They know the big clubs pay way too much. Good buisiness model as long as they stay comfortable in the Premiership and can find the players.

Relatively low key environment for players to settle into helps tremendously same as Brentford and Bournemouth.

Much harder at the Leeds and Newcastles of the world where the fans are not so tolerant and the pressures on.

Bobby Clark (son of Lee Clark) is going Derby for £6mil, think Derby will make a good go of it again next season.

Yeah but it's that weapon Turki from the boxing. I'd honestly rather Blues be shit than be owned by him.

Clark is excellent by the way.

1.8m apparently. They have certainly nailed the recruitment model.

Talk of a Saudi takeover. Knob heads

I work amongst them - seriously, every season since 'Uncle Mel' dropped them in the brown stuff, they have been about to be taken over by Saudi Royalty 'Abba Dabba' (their words) Royalty etc etc.
Keep saying this, their fans are the vile of the East Mids, but with even less to shout about. A lot less, tbf.

Millwall have signed Jenson Metcalfe from Bradford.

Disappointed with that for 3 reasons…

1. I didn’t want Bradford to sell him. He’s a young player who had a decent season last time out and was only going to improve.

2. If Bradford had to sell him, I’d have liked to see him at Blues. I think he’d have had a real impact alongside others in our midfield.

3. It’s effing Millwall

Good point! And this is why this model most likely won’t work at Blues, we have some of the most expectant fans of recent times, quite surprising considering we’ve had utter dross for the last 10/15 years.

Brighton will !now use the money to buy one of the best young centre halves in Europe from... Spurs.

I wonder how that will play out!
