Looks a close set of fixtures these, the England game probably deserves a thread of its own being the biggest England game since the last big England game, which was probably in the Euros.

Not been hugely impressed by Brazil so far, and if Norway gets the tactics right in midfield I think it will be Haaland and Co who go on to play the winners of Mexico v England.

I'm not sure who I would rather play out of those two sides if England make it through in the small hours.

If it was being played at sea level I’d still back us to have enough to get through but the altitude issue is a huge advantage for Mexico

Haaland usually gets the better of his physical tussels with Gabriel, definitely one to watch, can't see Casemiro staying with him either, but as we've seen Casemiro does seem to pop up with vital goals which is a danger.

I don’t think Stones is fit enough to start so it has to be Konsa + Guehi (if this turns out to be true it makes the Chalobah call up even more bizarre)

Think Brazil will make a show of themselves first half, possibly go in at HT a goal down, then Ancelotti will work his magic and Brazil will win

I wouldn't have started Spence in this anyway, I would really look to go with as much experience and cool heads as possible from the start.

Had a few hours kip this afternoon although next doors dog woke me up, may grab 3 hours after England game (unless its ET and pens) then my next 'proper' sleep will be tomorrow night after Spain vs Portugal

Not going to bother, unless I wake up naturally for it. If we lose I don't want to go through it, if we win then there's another match at a human hour.
