Interesting interview, clearly rates Paik for his professionalism and commitment.

He’s meant to be 4th longest serving manager in the Championship at the moment, must be doing something right

Irrespective of what people may think of his management style and the product on the pitch, I do still appreciate the fact that he is still the first manager we've had in a long time (short term Mowbray apart) who sounds intelligent, can get across his ideas when answering a question and really seems to want the job and want to do well.

There's a lot of positives, but we all know it's what we do on the pitch in those first couple of months that will decide how long he gets.

Laird being injured again is a shame.

Yea is a shame, think long term we need to be looking at a new rb as hes just not reliable to do a full champ season.

I do agree. He didnt say anything wrong in that and some encouraging things mentioned, some interesting, with respect to the right player. Lets see how it goes, all we can do is continue to get behind them all. Its all building up ok as it stands. Very interesting he was after Fry (Coach) since last year.

Ethan Laird with yet another niggle to keep him out of training.

He was training during the summer with Teden Mengi and a fitness coach, it not an unusual but I’d imagine the club won’t be too happy about it internally if its been a contributor.

Unfortunately he is made of glass, need to get him and Buchanan off the books and get in a more durable option at right back (ideally better than BOS)

Very clear he wants to improve squad, picking out 'speed, strength, power, size'.

Seems that lesson after summer transfer window has been well and truly learnt.
