Everyone at Birmingham City is deeply saddened by the passing of Steve Hopcroft

Played with Steve for a couple of seasons 35 years ago. He was a very good footballer and as hard as nails on the pitch. He played for Worcester City amongst other teams. He has suffered a long battle against a brain tumour but maintained his sense of humour throughout until it finally got the better of him. RIP Hoppy.

Poor bloke, awful way to go.
