Blue since 67 - Will be there at the end of the road, whenever that may be!

That’s a fake account, just putting 2+2 together

I mean, I don’t particularly rate any of our current keepers for a prem challenging side.

Our 3rd choice is that Mayo guy. Is it so difficult to believe we have our eye on another.

In any event, this thread is about a medical.

I’m waiting for El Major to correct me on this…

No idea who the keeper is (I never said pope) not saying it isn’t, I simply don’t know.

I can’t say I’ve heard we’re in for a keeper.

That doesn’t mean we aren’t, just that I haven’t heard about it.

FWIW though I do think it’s unlikely, as has been said elsewhere CD has talked about saving money for elsewhere - and I don’t think we’re looking to bring many more in.

Seems absolutely mental to sign a goalkeeper, given we signed Beadle to save money for other positions. Hope your info is wrong on this one!

Fake, no journalist of that name exists, and the source they've referenced has never said it

Fair enough, just because he’s been right on other transfers, doesn’t mean he’s right on everything.

I’d rather the club spend the money elsewhere aswell.

I still think he’s pretty accurate on this type of stuff though 🤣🤦‍♂️

Jeremy Dale says we are still looking at a few to bring in

Three I reckon - 10, LW and a CM

Idea this season is a smaller squad (which CD himself said in an interview in Portugal) as it’s easier to keep people happy if you’ve got less being left out of the matchday 20 altogether

But would it be such a big outlay if it was a free transfer. Someone with plenty of experience. Again no idea other than “another keeper”.

Be happy with that.

Think that’s all we need if we are keeping Osayi-Samuel.

Ideally the 10 and cm are two starting calibre players and the lw is good competition for Gray or someone like Osman who is better suited at times.

Also makes it easier to provide a pathway for the academy?

Yeah, that's all we need.

Unless something changes where we get a raft of outgoings but I can't see that happening either.

Ducksch going wouldn't be a surprise of course - and the best thing for Buchanan would be a loan, but apart from that...

Three good players for the positions mentioned and we would have a strong looking squad - should be well capable of challenging over the season.
