I don’t think you can demand promotion and then expect it by having to throw kids in.

All bases need to be covered first, the pathway isn’t really an option to consider.

There is indeed a medical.

What I mean is it is more likely you have kids on the bench when there is injuries etc. also more likely they are asked to join first team training in a meaningful way. I'm absolutely not saying any of them should play proper minutes.

The problem CD talks about re. last year was putting them on the bench at the expense of a first team pro - how is that going to make the pro feel?

Yeah It wouldn’t surprise me, be happy for him to go too as long as we could bring In an Improvement.

Ducksch will go, think with Priske, Stanno, Vazquez and hopefully Gelhardt that would be us sorted In that position anyway.

If we're after a 10, then I'd assume that is based on Ducksch leave.
And perhaps there just isn't any interest in BOS, so currently no expectation of him going.

I'd like to see us look at picking up players to strengthen the academy as well - get them cheap and hopefully we can make some profit even if they don't develop to first team level.

If you think about it if we bring someone in this week which has a decent chance he could easily say the medical was today. Quite a safe bet if you ask me.

Exactly, if you can say "last weeks medical is today" then it's bloody easy isn't it, just keep moving the goalposts until we sign someone and then brag on Twitter
