I thought Gelhardt was happening cos there was a lot of talk about it but that appears to have died down a bit so who knows? I honestly don’t think we’re after Mehmeti but I could be wrong.

Osman is the one they want for LW but I suspect if we do get him it’ll be closer to the end of the window. Heard nothing to suggest either Otele or Cleary are targets bar Twitter bullshit.

Osman being theoretically brought in closer to the window closing is fine, as long as Gray can stay fit until then, but being one injury away from zero available left wingers for the first month of the season is risky at best, negligent at worst.

I'd love Osman back but I think we need to get Gray SOME cover in the meantime, even if it just means sticking one of the academy kids on the bench
