I moved to West Wales this year. The people are lovely, really friendly, the scenery is fantastic.

The roads are empty, makes the 20mph frustrating at times.

The 20 only applies in residential areas doesn't it. Not the open road.

Pretty much every time you see a house, even in rural areas.

Yes. It was a myth put out by certain right-wing parties that all roads were becoming 20mph

You’ve made some decent signings.
I’d have thought a Saturday game would massively increase the attendance for a League Cup game. I’m looking forward to it and a good slurp.
Ih and can you ask your fans not to be racist towards our fans this time. Ta
Alive. Early starter. Enricher of lives

This is a forum for anyone unless they are rude or break the rules.

I can think of a couple of people who shouldn't be on here then 😎

Greetings, Swansea Person.

Apologies for the rudeness, I think some folk might be typing their polite SHA stuff on social media and the rude FB/Insta stuff on here.

Carabao Cup - like most teams, not too much of a hoot given unless we put a decent run together and then it tends to take over for a short while.

Our Jhon isn’t a CB, we have a few of those anyway.

A friend of mine works at Swansea, looking at troublemakers on CCTV. Say hi. 👍

Solis isn't a centre back.

Tbf to the OP he didn't post that Solis is a CB .

There is a comma between the word CB and Solis .

Not very well written but he is trying to express that he likes our signings GK ,CB and Solis .👍

Yep pretty easy to see what the OP meant , you just need to switch the conjunction and punctuation .

The people on other forums don't speak to each other, nobody knows who runs them, they are completely anonymous. Not even registered on their domains. So when they sling their stuff about on social media nobody knows who they are.. So for us they are insignificant. And don't affect our daily numbers at all.

You a military bloke, Swans?

Used to kick about Llanelli relatively often with a mate of mine. People were wonderful, funny, bizarre and backwards all in equal measure

Tangent -

I was lucky to be in an exec box for the playoff final in Cardiff. However it was as a guest of Courage West & Wales (I worked for the parent brewing concern).
As it was Blues-Norwich there wasn’t a huge amount of interest from the local customer base.
So whilst my brother and I were interested in the game, most of the other “guests” stayed inside. Folks like the head steward of the Llanelli Sports & Social Club (made up name as I can’t recall the detail).
Those guys were drinking whisky out of half pint glasses. Full glasses.
Boy could they drink.
We had a hoot. Proper people.
(Pity we were in the Narch end… though seeing the scenes at the far end following the shootout will stay with me forever).

Morning, I’m not but our site owner is. Ex I believe. Would have thought that summing up of Llanelli is pretty much Britain today.
