Hounded off Twitter when I used to be on it I seem to remember

What for?

Some people didn’t like the fact he’d post about how far he was travelling for games.

Met him a few times, know he drank in the Spotted Dog pre game.

61 is no age - cancer is just brutal. RIP

Some thought he over-promoted his travelling exploits I think

Travelling to games and mentioning how many miles he would be doing to support the club he loved. Some weapons then decided to bully him for it.

I never knew the guy but have had a few small interactions with him and his son at games, usually just a nod of appreciation that we’d bumped into each other again. Despite this being the only interaction we ever had this news has caught me off guard, I suppose it’s the consistency of seeing someone down the blues it becomes a part of the weekly experience, a real shame.

Thoughts go out to his son and the rest of his family.

RIP Mark.

Yeah it was a proper ‘woah’ moment when I saw it. Like you have only nodded or said ‘alright’ but when Blues played he was there. Think he sat in Tilton Upper. Maybe block 11

Horrible news, proper Blues and as others have said, her certainly put the miles in. Spoke to him a couple of times and he seemed a good bloke. Condolences to his family. RIP fella

If I remember correctly, he used to post each game home and away a picture on his way to the game stating how many miles he was travelling something like that?

A few didn’t like It, I’m unsure why 🤷🏻 and there was some unkind comments

Didn’t realise it was the same chap, I remember him getting stick for it, seemed odd but I try and stay off Blues twitter
If you need me, come and see me on Easy Street, I ain't hard to find

Mark was heavily involved in coordinating a large number of bluenoses travelling for the ashes, which coincided with the official launch of the local OSC here in Sydney held in the basement of Cheers Bar, for the Coventry game.

That event is one that will live long in everyone’s memories… Travelling bluenoses mingling with the local bluenose community, and watching a game which was, as we all know, a cracker.

RIP Mark.

And let’s all enjoy our lives.
