Are we stronger than the start of last season? Absolutely yes.

Are we stronger than we finished last season? It’s a tentative yes from me.

A team doesn’t have to just spend to improve, sometimes hard work and good coaching goes a long way.

Davies - he is a better manager for last season
Beadle - better
Cochrane - loads better than last year, Kai who?
Klarer - par, bit of a shaky start this year but it isn’t anything to be alarmed by
Neumann - mother of god he has improved
BOS - he can actually defend and last 90 mins

Solis - I love the kid and he’s just getting better
Iwata - we know what we’re getting abut he has a really good connection with Solis

Attacking areas are the concern but I really like Liam Millar, he isn’t Osman and we all wanted that to happen and I reckon Brighton have been really negligent keeping him on for sub appearances here and there in the league but anyway we are where we are and Millar is a threat in transition and I think that will help the rest of the forwards.

The new players Fry, Lund, Vasquez & Bird aren’t hampered by us needing them to hit the ground running like we needed our signings to do last season and that will help them to settle.

I refuse to be negative after the last 2 performances and would rather happy clap and I hate the transfer window anyway so I’m bloody glad it’s closed, load of nonsense spouted by people who know next to nothing about the players we’re linked to and now we can just concentrate on the games.

End? I think we have better depth now, but 11 is roughly the same.

Names on the team sheet maybe but what we’re getting from some of them is far better as it stands

I think similar.

Talking about how the team has improved or not vs the end of the season tends to miss that it improved through the season. If we'd had the squad that finished the season from the start, we'd have finished at least a couple of places higher, if not more.

Starting 11 is weaker than the end of last season, squad is probably stronger, I do have concerns about Fry and Birds availability though, I know Bird hasn’t historically been injury prone but players aren’t injury prone until they are.

Did some of the players I mentioned improve drastically towards the end of the season? We was all there for Millwall, Boro, Charlton, Sheffield Utd, Derby & Blackburn and that was Good Friday

His tackle and cross for the Stansfield header was absolutely fantastic.

How much did we sign him for? £1m? Hes worth 5x that now IMO.

We are better and we will get more points on the road.

Both starting full backs Bos/Cochrane have had a great starts to this season .

I think the experience gained from last season will make us a tougher opponent even if technically we aren't much different.
Having the likes of BOS, Neuman, and Cochraine performing as they have is like 3 new (good) signings, and we have Vicente and Priske who both have 6 months more experience in this league.
