I’ve been there mate. Home and Away. Seen us beat better sides than Southampton last season as well. So I won’t call getting a point in a game we should’ve won brilliant.
Those old days are gone. This isn’t lickle old Blues with a 5k wage cap any more. We are one of the big boys now

Missing at least 3 clear cut chances does mean there is something wrong.
We played pretty well - they are a good side but didn’t play that well (partly due to our full backs negating Scienza and Fellows and Neumann beasting Larin).
But to progress we need to be clinical in front of goal.

I know that, I think people were pleased with recruitment up till the last week though.

As it happens I do think we are short up front -
Ziggy has gone a bit overboard I think but he’s right to question where the goals are coming from Bristol City signed 2 which would given us more options for example. Maybe Priske and Stansfield will continue to develop their partnership.

It was OK. Not brilliant. Not awful.

Yeah, fair point. KH maybe have over egged it at times re ambition, but fans will naturally raise their expectations more, just because we aren't a basket case anymore and are now looking up again, not down.
I'm an old bastard, seen big crowds at Blues down the years and have always believed in the potential of the place. Maybe it's finally about to be realised.

We're a big club, just haven't always shown it.
We should expect better, of course we should, spose it's all about how you manage those expectations.
