We shouldn’t judge the transfer window the day after it closes. A year ago I seem to remember the fanbase being fairly pleased with Kyogo, Gray, Roberts, BOS, Ducksch, Robinson, Fujimoto and look how that has turned out 12 months later? I’d say not entirely what we’d hope for. Obviously one player hugely disappointing.

The messaging from the club hierarchy and Davies hasn’t helped at all. ‘ We’re loaning Beadle again to spend bigger up top’ was widely shared. But we really haven’t. Of course we may have tried but been unable to get who we wanted. In which case it was right to not panic buy.

My feeling is that CD should get this squad near the top 8 and if in January we aren’t, we can change manager before then and spend in that window. Seems like a reasonable plan.

Spot on, we played really well last night against one of best sides in the league.

In fact, you could reasonably make the argument they are the best side in the league.

We were unlucky not to win IMO, we created plenty of chances - that’s how I judge if we played well or not, not style of play.

Interesting.
But how do you think we played at Swansea and Sheffield United if the amount of chances we have is how you judge how we played?
