I haven’t caught up with all the posts so apologies if there is any repetition, but I thought 32 for a ticket was a bit steep for a midweek game given all the other factors discussed (few home games in a short space of time, tv etc).

Is it not possible for the club to offer up tickets on the cheap last minute if they clearly aren’t going to sell out? Appreciate there is an argument to say that everyone would then wait, but equally there is then no guarantee of getting a ticket at all or decent spot if you did. I have a ST so no benefit to me other than I like to see the ground full.

I think, in the past, when this was tried there was a massive outcry from Season Ticket holders about people getting to watch games for less than the £/match price the STHs were paying

The first 5 home games (incl Brentford) will have cost me well over £200 in tix and train fare so far

The next 5 home matches are Preston/QPR/Millwall/Swansea & Bolton after the intl break and are they an attractive set of games to invest a further £200+ in compared to the first 5 with weather and travelling in Autumn factored in? Certainly would be more palatable to me if their was a package deal as a non ST holder for at least one of the midweek/Saturday matches coming up in those 5 matches.

I certainly will have to look at the cost for the 5 games overall and if I think they're value for money, before purchasing, for those games

A season tickets works out at around £17 per game

I'm not having a pop , neither am I au fait with ST prices all over the ground .

Can you get a full adult season ticket at £17 per game?

My pals ST works out at £17 a game but he's on the Seniors concession .

I pay £565 for a ST which works out at £24.56 a game .

I thought they were all around the price I pay with a little difference based on seat location ?

Rightly or wrongly, considering the fallout with their fans and his former Leeds team-mates after he dobbed Revie in it, I doubt there's ever been a player as unloved across all the clubs he played for as much as Gary Sprake was/is.

The club limited the sales of STs to 20,000. We give 2,200 to away fans and with a capacity of around 28,000 now we have around 5,800 tickets available, the majority been in the Railway End.

What I dont understand is why the club didnt sell a thousand or even two thousand more STs, got that guarenteed revenue in and if they were going to do the 'You must put your ST on the exchange' you would have potentially gotten more income that way also if someone wanted a ticket they would have to pay a full match day price for someones ST.

Feel like they have missed a trick there.

I agree. Another 1 or 2k ST holders would ‘guarantee’ more attendees, and match day spend is so much more important than it ever was.

I’d do extra half season ST’s at Xmas for the same average number that we’re running under capacity at that point.

My understanding is that every club needs to offer a certain percentage of “ general sale tickets “ and therefore we have fulfilled our ST capacity

I don't think that is correct.

EFL regulations leave how home tickets are distributed entirely up to individual clubs.

The only mandatory quota is for away Fans, where the home club must provide provision for at least 2,000 visiting supporters, or 10% of the club's certified capacity, if the total capacity is under 20,000.
