Having a large waiting list and people not being arsed to go to a televised night game in the last days of summer holidays aren't mutually exclusive.

That's without the disparity in prices of a ST per match and a single game ticket.

On the Telly mate, there will be empty seats midweek at all the games. As far as I know all the available season tickets were sold.

If you want to watch on telly you won’t buy a season ticket

Agreed, especially as you can pretty much find every game we play on tv somewhere.

Fair enough......it was just an observation....

I get the point, though. Thought the same when I saw the empty seats. Accepting that nobody's got any money and we've had a glut of home games, it felt a bit like Preston at home last season. Felt low, especially for Southampton at home.

Innit.
I looked over to you and smirked last night and smirked when during a half arsed rendition of ‘stand up if you love the Blues’ whilst others around you rose to their feet, you and yours stayed in your seats 😁

Why are there 2 threads on this? unless my PC is knackered again.

Think it was a double post and people have responded to both.

If you want to stay on the waiting list you should have to buy tickets for a certain number of games per season

What ???

Well they can have your season ticket for a start since you said you were going to support Wrexham from now on.

They're on a waiting list for a Season Ticket and all the MASSIVE benefits that you get from having a season ticket. Benefits such as a regular seat with a half decent view, around the same people who you can get acquainted with over time and bloody cheap prices

Just because i only recently joined doesn't give you the right to call me a saddo lurking viler......

I think KH have done a magnificent job in making our great club competitive again.....i have been a ST holder since 1976 and can remember the Wheldon, Kumar, Carson ownership's.....not too mention the horrific appointments of Dave Mackay, John Bond, Steve Cotterill, Lee Clark, Karanka etc.....(far too many to mention....)

No, i don't believe KH are conning us at all, i am concerned that TW may not be coming back (i sincerely hope that he does as he "gets" us as a club and fell in love with the city and the supporters)........they have put their money where their mouths are.....it's a pity we haven't done the same and ensure that we sell out for every home game.....that's why i posted the original topic.

Yes - the new ground will be a beacon of light for not only Blues fans, but for the city as a whole. We will at last be able to hold international sporting events, concerts....something that Birmingham should have been doing years ago.......IMO a move over to the NEC should have happened decades ago.....but at least we now have something to look forward to with the new ground and SQ......

Is that a positive enough posting for you .......?

You say now : "No, i don't believe KH are conning us at all"

not too many minutes ago you were basically calling them liars

"Does anyone really believe that we have a season ticket waiting list in excess of 14,000 ?"

So whilst i don't think you're a Villa fan ... i do think you are being fairly inconsistent there - because you are actually questioning whether they are conning us or not.

PS ... i think any Blues fan who wishes, ;like you do, that we'd moved to the NEC instead is a tw@t

Does anyone really believe that we have a season ticket waiting list in excess of 14,000 ?

Over 3,000 empty seats last night.....huge sections of the Gill Merrick empty last night......which always looks terrible when empty.....

Are the club saying that we have sold out of our season tickets for this season ?

Lots of people struggle with night games. Lots of people are getting ready for the kids going back.

Can everyone just calm down. Lots of season ticket holders don’t make it to every game.

I’m sure some of the people on the waiting list may not be as engaged as others.

There’s no need for a vendetta between match going fans/STH’s and people on the waiting list.

Really strange - let’s just stop.

25k on a Tuesday night is a great attendance. Not long ago we could only dream of that on a Saturday.

Life also happens - I know 2 people on the waiting list who were offered a ST but couldn’t this year due to some other things. Both of them were at the game last night.

Our fanbase doesn’t have to be hellbent on establishing a hierarchy/divide amongst us.

That's better - for the record though, I didn't call you a saddo lurking viler, I laid out what was making me suspicious, but I didn't say that to you. Welcome to the forum, maybe would have been an idea to introduce yourself first though, could've avoided the confusion 👍 I started going around the same time as you, so must be a similar age.
