What a great question which I’ll ignore and give you my favourite players from watching us for over seventy years.

You will recognise the 2-3-5 format with the eight and ten having equal weight as inside forwards. I had to play TF out of position to accommodate “Le God”

Great team and I bow to your knowledge - a few there a little before my time (wish I'd seen Bertie in particular), others bang in my era. Did you see Jeff Hall?

If I went purely on "favourites", I'd find places for Bob Hatton (my all time fave), Joe Gallagher, John Frain, Simon Sturridge and Juke. Going on "best" (while at Blues, which for me excludes a young Jude) then Kendall, Dennis, Langan (battling with Carr for RB), Forsell and Ferguson probably get a game....

Yes I saw Jeff Hall play and cried my eyes out when Dad explained what had happened. Got my Polio vaccine then. Always made a point of acknowledging the Jeff Hall Scoreboard. Never actually saw Jude play live. I had emigrated to Jamaica by then and had to rely on Blues+ (as I do now) to keep up to date.
