So far, we’ve only really shown we can play against teams in the top half, and it’s games against the relegation fodder like Blackburn, Preston or Baggies that will determine our season. They’ll let us have the ball, and we need to prove we’ve got more than just crossing it to break them down.

I agree, seemingly some cant get there heads round this.

How do you feel Ducksch would get on in this new way of playing (direct to Priske) if he has to come in at some point?

I like the bloke but do think Stansfield would a far better fit in general play. When we have more of the ball Ducksch I think is invaluable, but Stansfield has so far this season showed a nose to get into similar positions and offers more off the ball

I think we saw it at points late last season with Stanno and Priske tbh. Stanno and Ducksch are such vastly different players in that 10 / Second striker role that although it's good to have different options, I am unsure if the game would now pass him by a bit unless we were able to get it into his feet which we seem to be moving away from.

Stanno has looked a lot better in the second striker position the last two games, I am concerned with his recent record though (2 goals in 36 appearances), is it inevitable that he goes on a scoring run? Or could it be a case he needs to improve his finishing? Or are we not creating enough chances for him? For our sake we need him to start getting the goals. Looks like Priske is finally settled in the league.

How many goals do we think Priske and Stanno get combined this season?

He is getting the chances now that he is in the middle, with someone to play off rather than having to do the running of two players. If we keep going as we are, he will get goals. I think we will see him and Priske improve through the season as they play more together.

Its a confidence thing. Once he gets one, then another, in a consistent position, he will come good.

I hope he regains his confidence soon and that the cause of his downturn is addressed...

Will say I thought Ducksch and Priske looked good at Norwich away last year

He'll be fine. Wasn't getting chances like the few he's had recently last year, was on 0.2ish xG p90. Last two games should have at least a goal, but if he keeps it up he'll score a hatful. Big if!

Priske's number look a bit crap but he was ace last night. Not a guy to be pumped long into

Our coaching staff consists of Ben Petty, Jonathan Grounds, Tom Huddlestone and Chris Davies, not a forward amongst them. Could this be part of the reason why we've generally struggled to create and take chances? Our coaching staff lacks an attacking specialist.
