My father just got a blue badge due to difficulty walking long distances. Just hoping for advice, where is best to park near to St Andrews on a match day?

Write to the club, they have spots available on the kop car park for blue badges.

Other than that, you can park on the double yellows in St Andrew’s St but be prepared for huge crowds of people walking down the road after the match

If you're prepared to wait after the match you should be able to park on Tilton road

Not sure what a long distance is for your father but if it’s manageable I’d recommend the car park outside Greggs/BnM. There is some disabled spots but it’s the same distance as the regular spots they have there.

Pros to parking here is the security cameras on the site puts off the car cannibals, it’s close to Greggs and Morrisons and I’ve never had an issue getting a spot

Cons to parking here are that it takes a while to get out of the car park so if your dad hates waiting then it’s not a good spot

One other warning is make sure you don’t park in the Morrisons section of the car park as you will be fined if you stay too long, unless there’s an exemption for blue badge holders
