Isn't that kinda the point?
Not being funny or anything, but it's there for when someone does need it.
Having said that you'll have the statistics and it's your site soo... off i'll feck.
I was only thinking about this the other day. You're right, it wasn't being used much, which is good news in that respect, but I thought that it was good to have there for the very reasons that it was set up - in case anyone did need a private outlet. But, of course - your forum, your rules.
It's not that it's not a good idea but if there are no live posts on it then people will be less inclined to post on it and it becomes self-defeating
There’s nothing stopping posting something on the forum
It’s not like friends in need was private
I’ve seen posts in forum recently people asking for help with employment etc
That was one of the posts that triggered my thought process
Sad state of affairs when Andy isn’t happy with the amount of sad people
😏

Well, it sort of was, in the way that it was excluded from Google searches on SHA

Yeah, it was. It meant that it was safe from 'non-forum' eyes. I do get Andy's point that a non-used forum tends to stay non-used, bu the hope was that it was a safe haven for peole that didn't necessarily want their business open to the whole world, and whose posts would stay visible for longer due to the nature of the board - i.e. the posts not disappearing from sight after a day or so.
Suppose the only option left is to just send suicidal posts directly to Andy.
Problem solved. 🤣
