Love the man. Few questions about him and he has shown he has still got it, with both bat and ball

Nasser hit the nail on the head, now his bowling has come back his batting has followed as he needs to be fully involved in games to be at his best

They were saying on TMS it's only the 8th time an England player has taken a 5 fer and scored a hundred in the same test.

Absolutely, it's one they couldn't get in the commentary box on TMS.

The incredible thing about one of Botham's is that in the Jubilee Test in 1980 he took 6 for 58 and 7 for 48, and scored 114 in a match when no-one else even got a 50.

13 for 106. πŸ˜‚

In the second innings he bowled a continuous 26 over spell in the Mumbai heat. 😱

Then they made him captain.

Then he resigned as captain.

And in the very next match he took 6 for 95, and scored 50 and 149 not out against Australia at Headingly.

I remember them both, but I had no idea they were consecutive games either side of his captaincy.
There's too much opinion and not enough fact.

Well, to be fair he had awful back injuries that, along with his lifestyle, resulted in him losing his zip.

It shows just how good he was though, compared to our other all-rounders.

Stokes is the closest to him I've ever seen, he's a similar batter but nowhere near Botham as a bowler.

That 26 over spell in the Mumbai heat just wouldn't be allowed now, although that's probably how he kept fit to be honest.

He bowled non-stop for about 3.5 hours. πŸ˜‚
