Notts need just two more points to become county champions after bowling out Warwickshire for 258 on day one at Trent Bridge.

Notts have just won the Championship.

Anyone but Surrey. 👍
There's too much opinion and not enough fact.

Well done Notts. I do admire the set up there in many ways

Pleased they won it in this innocuous way and we won it in 2021 magnificently.

Leagues are leagues are LEAGUES

Hate the idea it might in future be replaced by some convoluted play offs thingy even though we benefited from it in 2021. I still think we deserved the title that year as Notts do this

I think this Notts side would give that Bears 2021 Warks side a really good game mind

A dismal effort today.

It feels very much like end of term apathy.

Peter Moores has now guided 3 different counties to Championship success over 20 years. Whilst history will judge him as not having achieved ultimate success in either spell as England coach, his record in the County game, and his reputation amongst his peers is second to none. Took Melbourne Stars to final of Big Bash this year too.
